A celebration of madness

We high achievers are deliciously mad. I love colleagues who are as mad as me. Do you have a group of people in your life who stirs your soul to accomplish great things? Be with them frequently.

On the other hand, make sure there are those who calm your soul and make you stand still for a minute so you can see, hear and connect with the present. I’m not talking about people who drain your energy. I’m talking about people who keep you balanced and in tune. I had an assistant once who was quick to point out when I had gone over the edge of obsession. She would state it as a fact, not a criticism. Honor these people for the perspective they bring.

    This is great, Marcia. I can relate to an extent that’s alarming to those around me who don’t have The Mad Gene.
