Yesterday a blog post went out with three old postings of mine. I didn’t send it. I’m taking it as a sign. There are three possible lessons I can learn from this:

1. This is a feature I didn’t know I had on Wordpress. Now that’s telling. How many features do you have that you don’t acknowledge about yourself? I am going to a conference today with many of my professional peers. I think I will find and present my best features.

2. If I don’t post for a while, reposting will automatically happen. I’ve been busy with work and writing my book. Yet I shouldn’t neglect my relationships. I’ll take this as a reminder that I must tend to all my networks to keep them healthy and active.

3. All things happen for a reason. Maybe one of you needed to read those posts. If that is true, this was no mistake. I hope my words shed some light on a problem you are facing.

I will accept all three reasons as true. The moral of the story? What occurred is perfect and a chance to learn something about myself. There is a gift in every surprise. Every time something happens that I did not expect, it’s great material to write about. With that, I wish you a day of discoveries.
