Our roles as trusted friend, partner, daughter, sister, mother...they are the only ones where we are truly irreplaceable. The work we do can be done by another...that's why there is a job description for it...so another can be found to take our place. I am blessed beyond measure to have a circle of women, men and children in my life with whom I share breathless laughter, deep sighs to let my sorrows escape and deep breaths to get through the next challenge.
