You are so right...to increase our focus on what we want to accomplish we have to decrease our focus on what is wasting our time. Thanks for the perspective, Lee.

While our cat was living we often had other uninvited kitty guests which really enjoyed all the free tasty food so we installed one of those special doors, but the cat freaked out when he had to wear a collar (enclosing the chip which activated the door) so that was the end of that clever device!
I kind of reversed the focus exercise and decided to not focus on things that sap my energy like negative comments from people I deal with in my business. Instead of being thankful and enjoying the 99 positive remarks I might receive, I dwell forever on the one negative one, which probably isn't even directed personally at me but is a result of that person's own frustrations.

So here's how superficial I've become...I was really hoping this might be how to overcome my own Raccoon Eyes!! I love the point you've made (although beauty product advise is always welcome at this point in my life!) and have recently had my my ah ha moments about focus, intention and thinking someone else would come and fix my door! Thank you for the reminder to practice each day, Marcia!
